1. Purpose
This Booking Policy outlines the terms and procedures for reserving travel services with SANDI TRAVEL EXPEDITION E.I.R.L.. By making a booking, the traveler accepts these conditions as binding.
2. Booking Process
- Bookings can be made via our official website, WhatsApp, or email.
- All reservations must include full traveler information (full name, passport number, nationality, contact details).
- Confirmation will be sent once payment is received and supplier availability is verified.
3. Payment Terms
- A deposit (usually 30β50% of the total cost) is required at the time of booking.
- The balance must be paid before service commencement:
- Day Tours: at least 24 hours before departure.
- Multi-Day Tours or Treks: at least 7 days before departure.
- Failure to pay within the deadline may result in automatic cancellation without refund of the deposit.
4. Accepted Payment Methods
Payments can be made using the following methods:
- Bank transfer to our official company account (local or international).
- PayPal (subject to processing fees).
- Cash payments in Cusco office (with prior confirmation).
Note: All processing or bank fees are paid by the client.
5. Booking Confirmation
Once payment is received, a confirmation email or WhatsApp message will be sent including:
- Booking reference number
- Service details (tour name, date, itinerary, inclusions)
- Contact information for support
6. Vouchers and Documentation
- Electronic vouchers or tickets will be issued after full payment.
- Travelers must present valid identification matching the booking name.
- Permits (e.g., Machu Picchu, Inca Trail) are personal and non-transferable.
7. Service Modifications
Any change requested by the traveler (date, participant, or service modification) depends on supplier availability and may incur additional costs.
Modifications must be requested in writing at least 72 hours before the service start.
8. Cancellations
All cancellations are subject to our Cancellation and Refund Policy.
9. Traveler Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and complete personal information.
- Review itineraries, inclusions, and policies before confirming.
- Arrive on time for all scheduled activities and transfers.
- Carry valid identification and required permits during the trip.
10. Agency Responsibilities
- Provide clear pre-trip information and assistance.
- Deliver booked services as described or provide an equal or higher alternative in case of changes.
- Ensure suppliers comply with safety, quality, and ethical standards.
11. Travel Insurance
All travelers are strongly encouraged to obtain personal travel insurance that covers medical expenses, cancellations, and lost property.
