🌄 Early Departure – Route to the Andes
Your day begins with early pick-up from your hotel in Cusco (around 4:00 a.m.) for a drive toward the south of the region. As dawn breaks, enjoy the changing colors of the Andean landscape on your way to Tinki, a small mountain village that serves as the starting point of your journey.
Here, you’ll enjoy a nutritious Andean breakfast before beginning your adventure.

🥾 Trek Around Ausangate
Start your hike through the highlands of Ausangate, surrounded by impressive snow-capped peaks, herds of alpacas, and crystalline streams.
The route offers spectacular views of Ausangate Glacier and the surrounding valleys. Along the trail, your guide will explain the spiritual importance of this Apu, still worshiped by local communities today.
Depending on weather and fitness level, you’ll visit one of the nearby turquoise lakes such as Puca Cocha or Azul Cocha, each offering picture-perfect reflections of the mountains.

🍽️ Lunch and Return to Cusco
After exploring the area, enjoy a buffet-style lunch prepared with local ingredients, then begin your return to Cusco.
