💬 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Welcome to our FAQ section — here you’ll find clear answers to the most common questions about booking, payments, cancellations, and travel preparation with SANDI TRAVEL EXPEDITION E.I.R.L..

1. How can I make a booking?

You can book any of our tours directly through our website, WhatsApp, or by email. Once you confirm your service and receive payment instructions, you’ll need to make a deposit (usually 30–50%) to secure your booking. After your payment is confirmed, we’ll send your official booking confirmation and itinerary details.

See our Booking Policy for more details.

2. What payment methods do you accept?

  • Bank transfer (national or international).
  • PayPal (with applicable transaction fees).
  • Cash payments in our Cusco office with prior coordination.

All transactions are handled securely — please note that processing or transfer fees are the client’s responsibility.

3. How do I cancel my booking or request a refund?

All cancellation requests must be sent in writing to our official email or WhatsApp:

Please include your name, booking reference, and reason for cancellation. Refund eligibility depends on the time before your scheduled departure. Check our Cancellation & Refund Policy for full details.

4. What happens if my flight is delayed or I arrive late?

If you arrive late or miss your tour due to flight delays or other personal reasons, please contact us immediately. We’ll do our best to reschedule, but changes depend on availability and supplier conditions. Late arrivals without prior notice are considered “no-shows” and may not be refundable.

5. Do I need travel insurance?

Yes — travel insurance is strongly recommended for all travelers. It should cover health emergencies, accidents, cancellations, and lost luggage. SANDI TRAVEL EXPEDITION E.I.R.L. does not provide or sell insurance but advises all clients to purchase it prior to arrival in Peru.

Read our Travel Insurance Policy for full details.

6. Are your tours private or shared?

We offer both options. Most of our tours are available in shared (group) service, while private tours can be arranged upon request. Private options include personalized itineraries, flexible schedules, and dedicated guides.

7. What should I bring for the tours or treks?

  • Original passport or ID
  • Comfortable clothing suitable for the Andes (layers recommended)
  • Sunblock, sunglasses, hat, and reusable water bottle
  • Cash for entrance fees, snacks, or tips

Detailed packing lists are provided in each tour description and itinerary.

8. What languages do your guides speak?

All our guides are certified professionals who speak Spanish and English. For specific languages (French, Portuguese, German, or others), please contact us in advance so we can confirm availability.

9. How can I contact Sandi Travel Expedition?

10. What if I have a complaint or feedback?

We value your experience and encourage feedback. Any complaint should be reported immediately to your guide or our office during the service.
